# Customizing files

### Add cover

Add a cover for your file by first clicking on the Add cover button. By default, we'll randomly assign a cover from our gallery. Currently, we have colors and gradients, Sketchnote's own gallery of illustrations, landscape images from Art Institute of Chicago, and pictures of women in science.

You can upload your own images—including your company's logos—using the Change cover and then Upload button. You can also embed any image from the Internet by choosing the Link button and adding the URL to it.

Remove a cover by clicking on the remove button.

### Add icon

Add an icon to your file by clicking on the default one assigned to your file. Choose from any emoji or click on the Upload button to pick your company's logo. You can also embed any image from the Internet by choosing the Link button and adding the URL to it.

Remove a logo by clicking on the remove button.
